have a black lab/hound mix and nothing worked to get her to stop
pulling me around on our walks. I felt ridiculous walking her because
she was practically walking me instead. I saw this product on "it's me
or the dog" and I thought I would try it out. couldn't hurt I had
already tried every other anti-pull item out there. This worked
instantly! I thought I had a different dog at the end of the leash!! No
more jerking my arm out the socket when she sees people or other dogs
and no more dragging me down the street anymore. I've been using it for
awhile now and I actually can take it off now and she walks the same as
if she has it on! I am def. getting this for my 7 month old golden
retriever that is starting to pull really bad. I recommend this to
anyone who's tired of being dragged down the street by their dog.

| The
Gentle Leader is a great training tool. It keeps your dog's nose away
from distractions, for times when you need to get his focus on you; and
if just for walking, it saves a lot of elbow power from the handler.
The adjustable loop over the snout is nice, too. |

heard about this collar on Animal Planet on the show "It's Me Or The
Dog". Everytime I walked my Australian Shepherd, I had to use a choke
chain to keep him from pulling me along. He ended up "choking" himself
as he could not figure out how to not pull. He immediately stopped
pulling with this collar. There was no learning curve. I was very
pleased. |
