We have kept company with pets for 30 years starting with fish, moving on to hampsters and then enjoying the companionship of dogs and cats.  In the past fourteen years, we have settled down with two cats, Jedi and Chloe, who we rescued from animal shelters here in Massachusetts. We support animal activist groups and donate regularly to the welfare of domestic animals as well as those on the endangered species list.

We love all animals and we treat our pets like spoiled children.  They sit in the best seats in the house. They eat only the foods they like.  Their toy supply is always being updated. They get unconditional love and they give it in return.  They purr when we talk to them. They run to meet us when we come home. They curl up on the Sunday newspaper while we are trying to read it.
